Multi-tasking tools are 'a must' for small kitchens

If a person is looking to make the most of a small kitchen, one thing that is absolutely vital is buying multi-tasking kitchen appliances.
That is according to Shannon M Medisky, a former educator and a writer, who says that kitchen appliances should do more than one thing to help optimise space.
Writing on the Sun's Financial Diary website, Ms Medisky says people should think about throwing away appliances that take up space without performing more than one function.
"If it can't do at least two different tasks, consider replacing it with an item that can," she wrote.
"After all, if something's demanding valuable real estate in your cosy kitchen, it had better earn its keep to stay there."
Last week, the Housing Industry Association announced that combination products were to become more popular in 2011. The organisation made the discovery as part of its annual Kitchens and Bathrooms Report.
